A writer and director, Alesia Dangerfield was most recently a fellow in Dan Lin's Rideback RISE Writing Fellowship where she wrote TITTYMOON (now produced by Macro and Screen Gems), and wrote/directed the short film, THANKS FOR THE MAMMARIES (premiering August’26 at the Martha’s Vineyard AA Film Festival)! She was a Story Editor on Season 2 of THE GAME Reboot on Paramount +; she wrote episode #206 “Oceans 828." As a staff writer in Season 1, Alesia wrote episode #108 “Snips, Clips & Chair Sits.” In 2022, Alesia sold and developed AVANT-GUARDIANS to Paramount+, with CBS TV Studios, Trevor Noah's Day Zero Productions and Avalon, based on her award-winning webseries; she was attached as creator, writer and star. 

Alesia wrote and performed a comedy one woman show about purity culture, “Allie v. The Abstinence Pledge” to sold out crowds at the Hudson Theatre in Hollywood. The short film that she wrote/starred in alongside Lamorne Morris (NEW GIRL), Sherri Shepherd (THE VIEW), and Marque Richardson (DEAR WHITE PEOPLE), 19 WEEKS, was featured in POPSUGAR and SHADOW & ACT; the film was executive produced by Zoe Saldana's company, Cinestar. Her 2017 web series AVANT-GUARDIANS won Best Short Form Dramedy at the prestigious New York Television Festival, was nominated for best web series at ABFF, and was an official selection for the ‘18 LA Film Festival and Downtown LA Film Festival. It received rave reviews from Essence MagazineBust Magazine, Decider and TubeFilter. Alesia was a UCB Diversity Scholar and received a BFA in Dramaturgy from Carnegie Mellon University's School of Drama in 2014. Alesia is a first-generation Caribbean-American and based in Los Angeles.
